Dell OptiPlex Gaming Desktop (Intel i7-8700, AMD RX 550)

This refurbished Dell OptiPlex tower pairs a 6-core, 12-thread 8th-generation Intel Core i7-8700 with an AMD Radeon RX 550 graphics card and a full 1TB SSD. The all-SSD storage is the draw: your operating system, applications and games all load at SSD speed. It suits everyday users and light-to-moderate gamers who want a snappy, dependable machine.

Who it's for

• Casual and competitive esports players running CS2, Valorant, League of Legends, Rocket League or Fortnite on lower settings at smooth 1080p frame rates
• Students and office users who care more about consistent responsiveness than the highest graphics settings
• Gamers on a budget who play retro, older or lighter AAA titles at low-to-medium settings
• Anyone who wants a dependable Dell workhorse with just enough graphics power for gaming on the side

Key features

• Intel Core i7-8700 Processor: a 6-core, 12-thread 8th-generation “Coffee Lake” CPU that still handles modern workloads, gaming and heavy multitasking with ease.
• AMD Radeon RX 550 (4GB): dedicated Polaris-architecture graphics with 4GB of GDDR5 memory, delivering gaming capability that integrated graphics can’t match, in an efficient, low-power card that runs cool and quiet even in a compact case.
• 16GB DDR4 Memory: comfortable headroom for Windows 11, multitasking and gaming without bottlenecking.
• 1TB SSD: a full terabyte of solid-state storage rather than a small SSD paired with a slow hard drive, so every file, game and application benefits from SSD speeds.
• Dell OptiPlex Business-Grade Build: engineered for reliability and longevity, with proven components and solid build quality.
• Windows 11 Pro: genuine, pre-installed and ready to use.
• Professionally Refurbished: fully tested and inspected before sale.
• Ports & Connectivity: Dell OptiPlex business I/O including multiple USB 3.0 ports, DisplayPort and video outputs, and Gigabit Ethernet for a reliable wired connection.
• Tested Before It Ships: every unit is functionally tested across CPU, RAM, storage and GPU before approval for sale, so you are buying confirmed-working hardware rather than an untested trade-in.

Specifications

Good to know

• The RX 550 is an entry-level graphics card, comparable in tier to the GTX 1050. It won’t handle the latest demanding AAA releases at high settings.
• As a refurbished unit, expect light cosmetic wear consistent with prior business use. Every system is functionally tested before it ships.
• The tower form factor leaves room to fit a more powerful graphics card down the line.
• The machine has been unboxed, cleaned, inspected and functionally tested by a technician before it is approved for listing.

Choose this one if all-SSD responsiveness and a 6-core i7 matter more to you than graphics settings. If you want stronger gaming performance out of the box, look at a model with a more powerful graphics card.
