Dell OptiPlex MT Gaming Bundle (Intel i7-6700, RX 6400, Razer Bundle)

This refurbished gaming bundle is built on a full-size Dell OptiPlex 7040 tower, upgraded with a modern AMD Radeon RX 6400 and supplied with a genuine Razer keyboard, mouse and headset. It is a complete 1080p esports setup you can plug in and start playing on the day it arrives.

Who it's for

• Playing CS2, Valorant, Fortnite, Apex Legends and Rocket League at high frame rates in 1080p
• Streaming, Discord and background apps running alongside a game without the CPU becoming the bottleneck
• Replacing an ageing PC outright, with keyboard, mouse and headset in the box
• Players who may want to add extra drives later and want a tower with room inside

Key features

• Intel Core i7-6700 processor: a quad-core CPU with Hyper-Threading (8 threads), 3.4GHz base clock rising to 4.0GHz Turbo Boost, and 8MB of cache, with headroom for gaming, streaming and heavy multitasking at once.
• AMD Radeon RX 6400 4GB GDDR6: a modern RDNA 2 graphics card built for efficient 1080p gaming, a generational leap over the ageing integrated and entry-level GPUs in most refurbished office PCs.
• Dell OptiPlex 7040 Mini Tower (MT) chassis: the full-size tower variant rather than a cramped small form factor case, giving better airflow around the components and more room to work inside.
• 16GB DDR4 memory: faster than the DDR3 still found in older refurbished builds, keeping Windows and background apps smooth alongside your games.
• 256GB SSD storage: solid-state speed for a fast-booting, snappy-feeling system from the moment you switch it on.
• Genuine Razer keyboard, mouse and headset included: a real Razer setup, so you are not sourcing separate gaming gear on top of the PC.
• Windows 10 Pro pre-installed: genuine, activated and ready to go out of the box.

Specifications

Good to know

• The RX 6400 is a low-profile, power-efficient card with no external power connector. It is not designed for maxed-out settings in the latest AAA blockbusters, but it handles 1080p esports well and gives solid 1080p medium-settings performance in most other modern titles.
• The eight threads of the i7-6700 mean the CPU is less likely to become a bottleneck once you add a stream overlay or voice chat, which the i5 variants in this range can struggle with.
• The extra internal volume of the Mini Tower generally means cooler, quieter running under sustained load, and more space and cabling room if you want to add extra storage.
• The whole system, from the RX 6400 to the Razer peripherals, is fitted and tested as one package, so keyboard, mouse, headset, GPU and operating system arrive verified working together.

Choose this over the GT 1030 builds if you want a modern GPU, DDR4 and branded gaming peripherals included. If you need maxed-out AAA settings, you will want a stronger graphics card.
