Dell OptiPlex 7050 Tower Gaming PC (Intel i5 7th Gen, GT 1030)

This refurbished Dell OptiPlex 7050 tower takes a well-regarded 7th Generation business desktop and adds a discrete NVIDIA GeForce GT 1030 graphics card. That gives it dedicated graphics beyond what an office PC's integrated chip can offer. It suits light gaming, HTPC (home theatre PC) use, and anyone who wants smoother video and multi-display performance.

Who it's for

• Light esports gaming, retro and indie titles and emulation at 1080p on lower settings
• HTPC duty where smooth video decoding and quiet, low-power operation matter
• Home users, students and small offices that want dependable daily performance with occasional gaming
• Multi-monitor setups that integrated graphics alone can struggle with

Key features

• Intel Core i5 (7th Generation) processor: A quad-core “Kaby Lake” chip with Turbo Boost. It is a solid step up in single-thread performance over 6th Gen predecessors, and comfortable for everyday multitasking, office software and light gaming workloads.
• NVIDIA GeForce GT 1030: A discrete GPU with 384 CUDA cores. It is a low-power, single-slot card that needs no external power connector, suited to light esports gaming, retro and indie titles and smooth 1080p video playback.
• 16GB RAM: Memory for multitasking, browser-heavy workloads and running games and applications simultaneously.
• 512GB SSD: Fast solid-state storage across the board for quick boots, snappy application loading and space for games, media and files.
• Dell OptiPlex 7050 Tower chassis: A business-grade tower with the internal space and airflow to house a discrete graphics card, and more robust than compact desktop form factors. It was designed with genuine internal expansion in mind, so you can add storage or peripherals later.
• Windows 11 Pro (genuine license): Fully licensed, current and ready to use immediately.
• Connectivity: Multiple USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports, Gigabit Ethernet for a stable wired connection, and standard video outputs alongside the GT 1030's own display outputs.

Specifications

Good to know

• Entry-level GPU: The GT 1030 is a low-power, entry-level GPU. It handles older titles, indie games and lighter esports games at 1080p on lower settings, but it is not for demanding, graphically intensive modern AAA titles at high settings. For those, look at a GTX 1050 Ti or RX 550 machine instead.
• Refurbished: This unit has been professionally refurbished and fully tested prior to sale. A full diagnostic and load test covers the CPU, the discrete graphics card, memory and storage, with the discrete GPU and storage confirmed functional. Minor cosmetic wear consistent with prior office use may be present but does not affect performance.

Choose this tower for all-round daily use with a discrete GPU and room to expand. If you want more gaming power, go for the GTX 1050 Ti or RX 550 builds.
